“Journey is an eclectic collection of folk songs from different countries including Scotland, Sardinia, Bulgaria and Ireland …
[Elena’s] Gaelic is very convincing, moreover it’s pitch perfect, rhythmic and emotive. It sounds like a blue print for how Gaelic should always be sung.”

Listen to my album ‘Journey’ and ‘Where the Wind Blows’
Here are some of my past performances playing a selection of Scottish Gaelic traveller songs as well some Sardinian and Bulgarian songs. Performing at some of the biggest Folk Festivals in the UK, such as the Kinross-shire Music Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I have also had the privilege to perform a live music concert alongside world music journalist and writer, Andy Morgan and Gigliola Sulis at University of Leeds.
Here is a collection of my past sessions.
During lockdown, I am holding roughly fortnightly live streamed shows on my YouTube channel lasting approximately 30 minutes each. They usually occur every other Thursday evening from 7 – 7.30pm. I call these shows ‘The Squirrel Sessions‘ in honour of my 2 furry squirrel toy mascots that join me for every session and remind me that joy can always be found in the smallest things – an important thing to remember in these times.
I will be uploading upcoming shows on my YouTube channel. If you have a Google account. you can also set a reminder for each show. Please also subscribe to my channel to make it easier to find me in future and subscribe to my newsletterl to make sure you don’t miss out!
